Trust and Care Rwanda supports children's learning and well-being by providing school materials, nutrition support through school feeding, and after-school tutoring with academic assistance. TCR also conducts parental education and engagement workshops to help parents actively support their children's education.
At Trust and Care Rwanda, we believe that primary education is the cornerstone of a child's development and future success. Our Primary Education Program is a comprehensive initiative designed to ensure that children from the most vulnerable communities in Rwanda have access to quality education and the support they need to thrive academically and personally.
Many children in Rwanda face significant barriers to education, including poverty, lack of school materials, inadequate nutrition, and limited parental support. Our program addresses these challenges holistically, providing not just financial support but also creating an enabling environment for learning both at school and at home.
We work closely with local schools, communities, and families to identify children who would otherwise be unable to attend or complete primary education. Through targeted interventions, we help these children overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.
Our comprehensive approach ensures that children receive holistic support throughout their primary education journey.
We provide essential scholastics material to ensure children are fully prepared to participate in classroom activities without disadvantage. In addition, our school feeding programs help improve attendance, concentration, and overall academic performance.
We provide adult literacy programs to empower parents with basic reading and writing skills, enabling them to better support their children’s learning at home. This helps parents become more confident in assisting with homework, following school communication, and actively engaging in their children’s education, ultimately strengthening learning outcomes within the household.
